A Personal Note

Hello everyone,

Wow, I can't believe freshman year went by so fast. As I sit here writing this, it's hard for me to believe that I am actually a college student - it feels so surreal to me, and high school feels as though it's been over for ages, yet at the same time, it feels as though it was just yesterday that I was walking up the steps to get my diploma. I regret not taking a lot of photos senior year, or writing down the things that were happening - good or bad - just to have something to remember the year by. So here I thought putting up a webpage and sharing photos of my friends and some of our experiences at UCSD for our first year with my other friends would be a fun way to remember our crazy college year. I'm hoping that next year, I'll be able to add on other pictures and continue to add on to this one. I just need to get myself a good scanner! :) (hint: That'd make a great birthday&Christmas present collectively!)

It took me a long time to decide what kind of design I wanted for this page, and I'm pretty satisfied with the front page of this site. I've worked pretty hard at getting it up, but you guys will be able to tell what pages I worked on first, or cared about more because they look as though they've been worked on a lot more than the others. Toward the end, I just got tired, and so I kinda just slapped them on. However, though none of you can probably tell, I spent a lot time correcting the color and light to the photos, and there was one I think I didn't know how to correct (the one of Kim and Caroline in the dinner section) so it looks funny. I wrote who took the photos or included who's camera it was taken from incase any of you want copies, that way you'd know who to contact.

Anyhow, it was fun trying to go back and remember what happened when each photo was taken - quite a lot of memorable moments, though I must say a lot of them were strange.

For those friends that don't go to UCSD, I thought it'd be interesting to see the people I lived with - and I know a lot of you wanted to be able to see what they looked like. Sorry I didn't get a pic of Arjun up to those who I've told about him - lol..but he really wasn't worth wasting film on!
